Davis Johnson Tabbed as Mid-South Conference Champion of Character

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Georgetown College baseball sophomore Davis Johnson was named a Mid-South Conference Champion of Character as announced by the league office on Wednesday.

The MSC recognizes a Champions of Character Team for each championship sport. The student-athletes honored on the Champions of Character Team were nominated by their coaches based on their leadership on and off campus, as well as their demonstration of the five core character values of the NAIA.

Johnson split time between second base and shortstop this season, batting .337 with 26 walks and 22 runs driven in. He stole 13 bags and collected 11 doubles with 25 runs scored.
