Cheer wins Trojan Invitational

After a 2nd place finish at Campbellsville, Georgetown Cheer looked for a step better on Saturday at the Trojan Invitational, hosted by Taylor University. The Tigers delivered and then some with a 1st place finish.

Georgetown's performance brought home a score of 89.50 to win the competition by 1.05 points over Indiana Wesleyan. Saint Francis finished 3rd, followed by Taylor and Marian in the top 5. The score marked the 6th best in the NAIA this season.

The Tigers will look to take the momentum from the win to the postseason, starting with the Mid-South Conference Championship on Saturday, March 8th in Bowling Green, KY.
