Tigers Finish Second at Tiger Invite

GEORGETOWN, Ky. – The Georgetown College cheer team, coming off its UCA College National Championship, hosted the annual Tiger Invite in Davis-Reid Alumni Gym on Saturday.

Georgetown began the opening round with an impressive routine and strong technical ability to earn a score of 87.23, finishing second overall.

Cumberlands took the floor third after Lindsey Wilson's routine and executed at a high level, finishing the round with a score of 94.05 to easily win the opening round. Spring Arbor finished third, followed by Marian and Cumberland.

In between rounds, Georgetown took time to honor seniors Halie Bohn, Jaclyn Cropper, Isaac Harder, Averie Housh, Alex Kincer, and Ellie Price. for their hard work and dedication to the program.  

The Tigers chose not to compete in round two, which Cumberlands won with a score of 87.33.

UP NEXT
The Tigers travel to Lindsey Wilson College for their final competition on Saturday, February 21, before the Mid-South Conference Championships begin on March 7.
