Esports Wraps First-Ever Fall Season

GEORGETOWN, Ky. – The inaugural Georgetown College Esports fall season wrapped up with the young Tigers competing in both Overwatch and Super Smash Brothers for the first time ever.

OVERWATCH
Georgetown went 2-5 in the fall in Overwatch, picking up wins over Nazareth Purple and Thomas More. The Overwatch roster includes Andrew Hamilton, Joey Curtsinger, Trey Arnett, Joel Blachowicz, Parker Halley, and Parker Childers. The Tigers nearly picked up a third Overwatch victory in the match against, the University of Pikeville, falling 3-2 in a close battle.

SUPER SMASH BROTHERS
Georgetown went 0-6 in the fall in Super Smash Brothers, losing all their competitions, 2-0. The Super Smash Brothers roster includes Brandon Russell, Gabe Kelley, Tim Slone, Alyson Sewell, and Joel Blachowicz.

The Tigers begin the spring portion of competition towards the end of January, going 2-11 overall during the fall.
