Esports Wins First Match of Spring over Pace Azure
GEORGETOWN, Ky. – The Georgetown College Esports team picked up a 2-0 win over Pace Azure Blue on Monday night.
The Tigers are competing in Valorant in the spring semester after splitting time between both Super Smash Brothers and Overwatch in the fall term.
On the first map, Georgetown won, 13-11 with Reid Schulten picking up the highest combat score of 293. Trey Arnett was also top-5 in the round as he put together a score of 273.
The Tigers finished off the night with a 13-3 victory on map two. Nathan Litvin tallied 22 kills with a score of 363 for the highest average score of the evening. Schulten improved his average score in the second map with a 299 mark and 18 kills.
Georgetown takes on Montclair University Black next Monday at 8:15 p.m.
