Esports Cruises Past Champlain College

GEORGETOWN, Ky. – The Georgetown College Esports team continued its winning streak on Monday, defeating Champlain College 2-0 in Valorant to advance to round two of the national tournament.

Georgetown won both rounds 13-0. The opening map featured Reid Schulten as the top Tiger with nearly a 400 average combat score. He collected 20 kills to just five deaths and had four assists.  Nathan Litvin was second for Georgetown with a 349 combat score and 18 kills.

On the second map, the Tigers swept through the game with the top five performers. Schulten added 16 kills while Litvin and Trey Arnett both collected 15.

The Tigers now advance on to the next round of the national tournament with the next match set for April 27.
