Myers Named Mid-South Conference Defensive Player of the Week
GEORGETOWN, Ky – Georgetown College football senior John Carter Myers was picked by the Mid-South Conference as the Defensive Player of the Week on Monday.
Myers, a senior from Glasgow, Kentucky was pivotal in the Tigers' 35-28 come from behind win over (RV) Cumberlands on Saturday.
Myers had a 34-yard interception return which set up the game-winning rushing touchdown with just over five minutes to play in the win over the Patriots.

Additionally, Myers recorded six tackles, forced a fumble and added a pass breakup in the win.
Myers is tied for eighth in the MSC with 51 total tackles this season while his seven pass breakups is fourth best in the league.
