Tigers Ranked No. 20 in Postseason NAIA Top 25 Coaches Poll

GEORGETOWN, Ky – The Georgetown College football team came in at No. 20 in the postseason 2025 Netting Professionals NAIA Top 25 Coaches' Poll released on Monday.

Georgetown went 7-3 in the first season under head coach John Perin, winning games over three nationally ranked opponents in Pikeville, Cumberland and Campbellsville.

The final poll of the 2025 season featured Georgetown as ranked No. 18 after the Tigers pulled off an upset of No. 10 Campbellsville to close the regular season.

Back-to-back national champion Grand View (Iowa) is No. 1 in the 2025 Netting Professionals NAIA Coaches' Top 25 Postseason Poll after winning the 2025 NAIA Football National Championship 22-16, Dec. 20 over No. 2 Keiser (Fla.). Grand View garnered all 16 first-place votes in the postseason.

College of Idaho made the biggest jump within the top 10, after making the Semifinal Round, going from No. 9 to No. 4, while Campbellsville also made a four-spot move, up to No. 11 from No. 15. One team entered the Top 25, Reinhardt (Ga.) at No. 23.

Georgetown boasted eight All-Conference selections in the Mid-South with Jamell Smith, John Carter Myers and Drew Rader all named to the league's first team.

Myers and Rader went on to also be named NAIA AFCA All-Americans as second team members while the duo also won VSN NAIA All-American status as well. Rader was a first team selection to the VSN team while Myers was an honorable mention. Rader also was tabbed as a Walter Camp NAIA All-American to add to his collection. He was named the nation's best punter for that award.
