Tigers Announce 2026 Schedule
GEORGETOWN, Ky. – The Georgetown College football team has announced its 2026 schedule.
The Tigers will kick off the season on Saturday, August 29th, on the road against Butler University. It will be Georgetown's first game against an NCAA opponent since the 2024 season, when it played Alabama A&M to a one-possession game. The kick-off time with the Bulldogs is not yet determined.
Week two sees the Tigers take on Andrew College for another road game at 1:30 p.m. Andrew College, formerly a NJCAA school, was approved for NAIA membership effective fall 2026 and hosts Georgetown in one of its first-ever NAIA games.
Georgetown's first home game of the season is on September 12th when St. Thomas visits Toyota Stadium for a rematch. The Bobcats took down the Tigers 26-7 last year, handing Georgetown its first loss of the 2025 campaign.
The third road game of the season is against Warner when Georgetown travels to Florida for another meeting against the Royals. Georgetown defeated Warner 45-14 at Toyota Stadium in 2025.
After the first bye week of the season hits on September 26th, Georgetown jumps right into Mid-South Conference play, with yet another road game. On October 3rd, the Tigers travel to Cumberland, a team they beat 34-13 on Homecoming last season.
Week seven brings another showdown with Lindsey Wilson on October 10. The Tigers travel to Columbia, Kentucky, looking to avenge last season's 37-13 loss.
The second bye of the 2026 season hits on October 17th before Georgetown hosts Bethel on Homecoming. The 1:30 p.m. kickoff sees the Tigers seeking to avenge the 26-23 overtime loss in McKenzie, Tennessee, a season ago, on the Wildcats' Homecoming.
On Halloween, the Tigers host Cumberlands, a team they beat by a touchdown (35-28) last season, before traveling to Campbellsville on November 7. The final Mid-South Conference game of the regular season kicks off at 2:00 p.m.
Senior Day takes place on November 14 when Rio Grande visits Toyota Stadium for a 2:30 p.m. kickoff.
