10 Tigers Named to 2026 NFF Hampshire Honor Society

IRVING, Texas. – The National Football Foundation (NFF) announced the members of the 2026 Hampshire Honor Society on Wednesday with Georgetown College receiving 10 honorees.

Members are comprised of college football players across all levels of NCAA, NAIA and Sprint Football.

Georgetown College had the following 10 student-athletes named to the 2026 Hampshire Honor Society:

Chase BennerColin BratcherDerek DamronClayton MelcherJohn Carter MyersLuke OliveDrew RaderTrey SchoenGehrig Slunaker, and Noah Smith.

Created in 2007, the NFF Hampshire Honor Society is one of the most comprehensive scholar-athlete initiatives in college athletics, recognizing football players from all divisions who have maintained a cumulative 3.2 GPA or higher throughout their college careers. 

The 2026 class, which includes a record 2,596 players from 365 schools, represents the largest group in the program's history and underscores the sustained academic achievement taking place across all levels of college football. 

Georgetown is tied with Friends University (KS) with the second-most at the NAIA level. Grand View University (IA) claimed 11 recipients for the most.

In total, Georgetown was one of just 12 NAIA programs to have student-athletes named to the 2026 list.
