HOW IT HAPPENED
Georgetown's offense was clicking early as it rushed out to a quick 11-0 lead behind a pair of 3-pointers from Bubba Leavell. The Shock's first basket of the game came four and a half minutes in as Washington Adventist made it a 16-12 game midway through the opening half. The Tigers opened up as much as a 12-point lead after Darien Lewis slammed home a dunk with just under seven minutes to play. Georgetown took a 35-29 lead at the break.

The second half quickly turned into a physical back-and-forth game, which saw the Shock tie things at 38-38 just three minutes in. Chase Cook's three-pointer even gave the visitors a temporary lead at the 14:35 mark, which forced a Tigers timeout. From there, Rashad Bishop took over. The senior pounded in all 11 of his points in the final 14 minutes of action to help lift the Tigers to the comfortable 15-point win.
