Harmon, Mason Sweep Mid-South Conference Player of the Week Bids

GEORGETOWN, Ky – Georgetown College men's basketball junior Zion Harmon along with teammate Isaiah Mason have both been selected by the Mid-South Conference on Monday as the league's Player of the Weeks.

Harmon, a junior from Temple Hills, Maryland, put a career-high 32 points for the Tigers in their 1-1 week, helping Georgetown secure a 38-point victory over Bethel.

On the season, through 20 games played, Harmon is averaging 9.3 points a game in just over 18 minutes played per contest.

Mason, a senior from Bowling Green, Kentucky, averaged 17.5 ppg for the Tigers this week. He collected a 19-point, 12-rebound double-double in the loss to No. 2 Freed-Hardeman before turning in a 16 point, 9 rebound and 5 steal outing against Bethel.

On the season, Mason leads the team in scoring (15.2 ppg) as well as rebounds (7.4 rpg) and steals (1.9 spg).

Georgetown hosts Lindsey Wilson (15-6, 4-2) tonight at 7:30 p.m.
