Men's Golf in 6th after Day 1 of MSC Fall Preview
Men's Golf is in 6th place out of 7 after the first day of the Mid-South Conference Fall Preview in Bowling Green.
Christian Clements led the way for Georgetown on the 36-hole opening day. Clements carded rounds of 76 and 80 that included 6 birdies. After an up-and-down first 28 holes, Carter Zutterman was able to stabilize with 8 straight pars to wrap up his 2nd round with a total score of 157 on the day.
Seth Shelley bounced back from a tough 82 in round 1 with a solid 76 in the 2nd round that included 2 birdies on the back nine for an even 36. Laine Schulten's best of the day was his opening round in which he had 3 birdies to finish with a 76.
Connor Smith and Evan Coffey each shot 166 with rounds of 81 and 85. Dawson Lamb came home with a total of 173 after the 1st 36 holes.
The final round takes place on Tuesday at Bowling Green Country Club.
