Tigers Close Maggie Mountain Invitational in Fourth
PRESTONSBURG, Ky. – The Georgetown College men's golf team finished fourth at the Maggie Mountain Invitational hosted by Alice Lloyd College on Stonecrest Golf Course on Tuesday.
Christian Clements leads the Tiger effort with a one-over par 71 in the opener and a 73 in the final round while the team shot a 299-299=598.

CHRISTIAN CLEMENTS
Clements collected consecutive birdies on the back-9 to help close his deficit to just a one-over 71. After a bogey on 12, he shot under on both holes 13 and 14. Hole 14 was a par-5. On the second round, collected a birdie on both the front and back-9.
LAINE SCHULTEN
Schulten shot a 78 on the day, which was eight-over behind four bogeys and a pair of double bogeys. Lowered his total to a team-best 73 in the second round behind two birdies.
CARTER ZUTTERMAN
After shooting three over on the front-9, Zutterman cleaned up his round on the back-9, shooting just one-over for a 74 on the day. Had a team-best three birides in the second round and finished with a score of 78.
EVAN COFFEY
Coffey enjoyed birdies on holes one and 18, but between the front and back-9s, 10-over, ending up eight on the day for a 78. On round two, enjoyed a two-over back nine which included a birdie.
MACK KING
King shot six-over on the day for a 76, but impressively nailed hole 17 in just two strokes. His birdie on 17 was the second of the day after shooting red on 13 as well. In the second round, had birdies on both holes two and three, shooting a 79 overall.
UP NEXT
The Tigers have next week off before traveling to McDermott, Ohio, on September 22-23 for the Roger Merb Invitational. The Shawnee State hosted tournament is being played at the Elks Country Club.
