Schulten Claims Tournament Medal at Crimson Classic, Tigers Second
KOKOMO, Ind. – The Georgetown College men's golf team finished 2nd at the Crimson Classic hosted by IU Kokomo at the Wildcat Creek Golf Course on Sunday.
Laine Schulten finished the two-day event in a tie for first and eventually won the playoff to claim the tournament medalist honors. Schulten produced a 73-71=144 and had an eagle on hole nine in round two.

LAINE SCHULTEN
Schulten shot a two-over 73 in the first round. He carded a pair of birdies. In the second round, he collected an eagle on hole nine to go two-under for the front-9. He shot two birdies on the back-9 and went a one-under 71.
MACK KING
King produced a 77 in the opening round behind 13 pars. He shot up the leaderboard in round two with four birdies on the front-9 and three more on the back-9 for a two-over 74.
CARTER ZUTTERMAN
Zutterman was even in the opening round amassing four birdies on the front-9. In the second round, he added one other birdie and shot a nine-over 81.
CHRISTIAN CLEMENTS
On day one, Clements collected two birdies to help him to a five-over 76. On day two, Clements shot seven-over with just a single birdie on 13.
EVAN COFFEY
In the opening round, Coffey shot a 79. For round two, he had a birdie on two and finished with another 79.
BENNETT MYERS
Myers started the front-9 with two birdies and ended the opening round with an eight-over 79. On day two, he turned in one more birdie and finished with a 12-over 84.

The Tigers have two weeks before the fall season closes with the Mid-South Conference Fall Preview on October 27-28. The two-day tournament is at the Bowling Green Country Club in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
