Clements, Zutterman Ninth, Tigers Close Patriot Invite in Fourth
LONDON, Ky. – The Georgetown College men's golf team opened up the spring season with a fourth-place finish at the Patriot Invite at the Oaks of London Golf and CC on Tuesday.
Christian Clements and Carter Zutterman both finished the two-day event in a tie for ninth. Clements shot a 73-74-74=221 while Zutterman turned in a 74-72-75= 221.

CHRISTIAN CLEMENTS
Clements was one of three Tigers to produce an eagle doing so in the first round where he carded a 73. He was two-under on the front nine of the first round. In the second and third rounds he picked up one birdie each nearly shooting all pars on both back nine's.
CARTER ZUTTERMAN
Zutterman produced 10 birdies on the tournament. He had two or more in each round with a tournament high of five in the second round. After day one he was in ninth and finished in a tie for ninth with Clements.
MACK KING
King added a team-high 11 birdies and was the second Tiger to record an eagle. King did so also on hole three in the third round where he was even on the front nine. He carded five birdies in the second round for his lowest score of a 74. He finished 17th overall.
LAINE SCHULTEN
Schulten moved up six spots on the second day to finish in a tie for 18th. He bookended his tournament with a pair of 73's in the first and final round round. He carded a total of seven birdies and was one-under on the back nine in round three.
EVAN COFFEY
Coffey moved up four spots to finish the tournament in 49th. Coffey put up four birdies in total and shot a tournament low 81 in the final round.
BENNETT MYERS
Myers shot a 74 on day two to shoot up seven spots on the leaderboard. He finished 52nd overall as an individual with four birdies. He was the final Tiger to collect an eagle, also on hole three which was the third longest hole, a par five.
UP NEXT
The Tigers take on the Music City Classic on April 13-14 at the Hermitage Golf Club in Nashville. Fellow Mid-South Conference member Cumberland University will be the host.
