Tigers Finish Seventh at Centre Showcase

DANVILLE, Ky. – The Georgetown College men's indoor track and field team competed in the Centre Showcase in Champions Hall at Centre College on Friday night.

Originally scheduled for Saturday morning, the meet was moved up due to the incoming winter weather expected in the region beginning on Saturday.

Of the nine events the Tigers competed in, the team collected points in seven of them, with Ethan Poynter finishing the highest with an 11.63m second-place finish in the triple jump. Poynter got it done on the track as well with a fourth-place finish in both the 60m hurdles prelims and finals. Braden Raybourne was also in the top-5 with a third-place finish in the weight with his 14.23m toss.
