No. 4 Tigers Drop Five-Setter to (RV) Eagles
WALESKA, Ga. – The No. 4 Georgetown College men's volleyball team (2-4) fell to (RV) Reinhardt (6-2) in the James & Sis Brown Athletic Center on Tuesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Georgetown controlled the opening flow of the match establishing and holding the early lead after surrendering the matches opening point. Late in the set, Georgetown led 21-16 before Reinhardt tied things up at 22-22. Despite the Eagles hanging on and making things interesting late the Tigers secured the opener 25-23, winning the final three points.
The momentum shifted towards Reinhardt as the second set opened. The hosts claimed seven of the first 10 points and took a commanding 15-7 lead before the Tigers rallied. Georgetown used an 8-3 run to pull back within three at 18-15 but the Eagles slowly put the set out of reach with consistent attacking and passing, winning 25-20.
The third set featured perhaps the most competitive of the evening as neither team gained more than a two-point advantage until things were stalled at 15-15. The Eagles' 5-0 stretch separated things and eventually made way for the 25-19 set win.
In the fourth, things set up to a similar start from the third with both sides trading early leads. Down by four, the Tigers rallied for a 4-0 run to tie things and force a Reinhardt timeout. Out of the break, after surrendering three straight points, Georgetown used a 7-2 run to take back the lead. The Tigers claimed the fourth, 25-23.
The fifth was tightly contested as things played out to an 8-8 tie. After five of the next six points went to the Eagles, Georgetown was out of timeouts and facing a 13-9 deficit. Despite rallying to make it a 14-13 game, the Tigers only fended off one match point, falling 15-13.
THE TEAM
Georgetown hit .203 as a squad, with RU earning a .234 mark. The Tigers had 51 kills and 49 assists. Georgetown collected four service aces and 39 digs.
THE PLAYERS
* Kristjan Unt produced a team-high 14 kills with four block assists and three digs.
* Michal Bak had 12 kills while adding seven digs.
* Santino Zucchiatti had 11 kills to go with seven digs and four block assists.
