Reid Tabbed Mid-South Conference Player of the Week

GEORGETOWN, Ky – Georgetown College women's basketball freshman Daysha Reid was selected by the Mid-South Conference as the Offensive Player of the Week by the league office on Monday.

Reid, a redshirt freshman from Portsmouth, Ohio, averaged 34.5 points over the weekend to lead the Tigers in scoring.

In the blowout win over Miami-Hamilton, she hit nine 3-pointers, one short of tying the school record.

The next day against Carolina, Reid followed it up with another 30+ point night, scoring 36 points and grabbing nine rebounds.

Georgetown hosts Oakland City (0-2) this Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.
