Reid Snags NAIA Offensive Player of the Week
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – After winning Mid-South Conference Offensive Player of the Week yesterday, Georgetown College freshman, Daysha Reid was awarded the NAIA Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday.
Reid, a redshirt freshman from Portsmouth, Ohio, averaged 34.5 points over the weekend to lead the Tigers in scoring.

In the blowout win over Miami-Hamilton, she hit nine 3-pointers, one short of tying the school record.
The next day against Carolina, Reid followed it up with another 30+ point night, scoring 36 points and grabbing nine rebounds.
Beyond her scoring, Reid contributed significantly in other facets of the game. Against Miami-Hamilton, she added six rebounds (2 offensive, 4 defensive) and four steals to her stat line, while against Carolina, she grabbed nine boards (2 offensive, 7 defensive), dished out three assists, and recorded three steals.
Reid's shooting efficiency was a key factor in her success. Over the two games, she shot an impressive 61.9% from the field, including a 59.1% success rate from beyond the arc. Her ability to convert from the free-throw line, where she shot 57.1%, further highlighted her comprehensive offensive game.
Georgetown hosts Oakland City (0-2) this Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.
