Tigers Finish Maggie Mountain Invitational in Second

PRESTONSBURG, Ky. – The Georgetown College women's golf team finished second at the Maggie Mountain Invitational hosted by Alice Lloyd College on Stonecrest Golf Course on Tuesday.

Maggie Browning remained in the top 10 on the leaderboard with a team-low 84 in round two. She finished the tournament 83-84=167, while the team shot a 335-345=680.

MAGGIE BROWNING

Browning enjoyed a two-stroke hole 17, her only birdie of the day in the opening round. She shot an 83 and was in a tie with Holton for sixth after day one. She shot nearly identically in round two with a total of six pars for a total of 84. 

EMMA LEMMING

With birdies on holes four and 13, Leming collected a total of 84 on the round on day one. In round two, she shot an 85 with six pars.

HOLLY HOLTON

Holton shot a 13-over behind seven pars in the opening round. She shot an 83 overall and was in a tie for sixth with Browning after day one. She produced the team's only birdie on the day in round two. She was negative on hole 18 and finished the round with an 87.

KAELIN STULL

Stull produced an overall score of 85 in the first round, with a pair of pars on the front-9. On the back-9, she collected five pars. She had five pars on day two with a score of 89.

JAYCEE KABASKY

Kabasky shot an 89 on the afternoon with pars on holes one, nine, 15 and 17 in round one. She had pars on holes 14 and 16 and finished the second round with a 94.

UP NEXT

The Tigers have a couple of weeks off to prepare for the FHU Invitational on September 29-30. They travel to Henderson, Tennessee, to take on the Chickasaw Golf Course
