Tigers Close Crimson Classic in Second

KOKOMO, Ind. – The Georgetown College women's golf team finished second at the Crimson Classic hosted by IU Kokomo on the Wildcat Creek Golf Course on Sunday.

Holly Holton was the top Tiger with a two-day score of 84-78=162 while the team shot a 331-333=664.

HOLLY HOLTON

Holton shot a 13-over behind 10 pars in the opening round. On day two, she improved to a seven-over 78 and moved up eight spots on the leaderboard to 2nd.

EMMA LEMMING

Lemming had a team-high three birdies in the first round. She put together a round of nine-over 80. In round two, Lemming produced seven pars, falling four spots on the leaderboard to 7th.

MAGGIE BROWNING

Browning collected a birdie on the back-9 on the opening day. She shot an 83 and was in eighth. In round two, Browning pieced together eight pars, including four on the front-9. Browning remained in eighth.

KAELIN STULL

Stull produced an overall score of 84 in the first round, with a pair of birdies on the back-9. Stull remained in the 10th on the leaderboard on day two with an 86.

JAYCEE KABASKY

Kabasky shot an 89 on the afternoon with six pars in the first round. For day two, Kabasky put up a 95 with for extra pars.

UP NEXT

The Tigers have two weeks before the fall season closes with the Mid-South Conference Fall Preview on October 27-28. The two-day tournament is at the Bowling Green Country Club in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
