Ramos Ties Single Game Saves Record in Loss at No. 3 SCAD Savannah

HARDEEVILLE, S.C. – The (RV) Georgetown College women's lacrosse team (2-6, 1-0 AAC) lost, 21-5, to No. 3 SCAD Savannah (4-1, 0-1 Sun) at the SCAD Athletics Complex on Friday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Bees scored on the opening play and were up 3-0 inside the opening two minutes. Georgetown's first goal of the day came at the 12:34 mark when Hailey Voss registered her first of two goals on the day. Down 5-1, Voss finished her brace with another unassisted goal. The Bees finished out the opening quarter with an 8-2 lead.

SCAD Savannah put up six goals in the second quarter, all before the Tigers found the back of the net. Madison Diaz scored the final goal of the half with just 35 seconds to play, making it a 14-3 deficit at the break.

Six more goals were scored by the hosts in the third, sprinkled throughout the quarter.

Vanessa Owens scored the first goal of the fourth, which was unassisted, before Hannah Voss got in the scorebook off a free position shot. The Bees finished the game off with the final goal of the day for the 21-5 win.

THE TEAM
Georgetown had 15 shots while SCAD Savanah had 49. The Bees held a 16-10 advantage in draw controls. The Tigers collected 14 ground balls and made 24 saves. Kezia Ramos' 24 saves tie a program record for a single game set by Madison Haney in 2025.

THE PLAYER
* Hailey Voss scored two of the five goals off eight shots. She had four draw controls and one ground ball.

UP NEXT
The Tigers return home to host #9 Missouri Baptist (4-2, 0-0 HAAC) on Wednesday, March 18.

First draw is set for 3:00 p.m. against the Spartans in Toyota Stadium.
