Diaz Named NAIA Defensive Player of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – A day after being named Appalachian Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week, Georgetown College senior, Madison Diaz, was awarded NAIA Defensive Player of the Week on Tuesday.

Madison Diaz, a senior from Kennesaw, Georgia, collected 16 draw controls and had three ground balls, helping the Tigers to the 24-4 win over Truett McConnell.

Diaz also scored four goals and had two assists.

Georgetown takes on No. 4 Reinhardt this Saturday at 1:00 p.m. in a big AAC game as both sides are undefeated in league play.
