Byrd, Diaz, Voss Named to AAC First Team, Nichols Lands on Second Team; Five Tigers Selected to All-Academic Team

WALESKA, Ga. – The Appalachian Athletic Conference announced its 2026 women's lacrosse All-Conference Awards on Thursday, with Georgetown College receiving four recipients between both teams.

Hailey Voss, along with Madison Diaz and Maggie Byrd, were named to the first-team All-Conference, while Hailey Nichols was selected to the second team.

1st Team:
Hailey Voss, Attacker
Madison Diaz, Midfielder
Maggie Byrd, Defender

2nd Team:
Hailey Nichols, Defender

The awards were voted on and selected by the women's lacrosse coaches of the AAC.

Sixteen players earned a spot on the All-AAC First Team, with 16 making the second team. There were seven named the Champions of Character Team, with dozens making the grade and landing a spot on the All-Academic Team

In total, five Tigers were selected as members of the All-Academic Team: Maggie Byrd, Madison Diaz, Lindsey Maynard, Kezia Ramos, and Haliey Voss.

The AAC also announced its Champion of Characters with goalkeeper, Kezia Ramos representing Georgetown for the honor.
