Settle Named MSC Offensive Player of the Week

Georgetown women's soccer student-athlete Kali Settle has been named the Mid-South Conference Offensive Player of the Week.

Settle, a sophomore from Mt. Sterling, KY, helped the Tigers to two non-conference wins over UM-Dearborn and Union Commonwealth University last week.

In the first game against UM-Dearborn, Settle notched a goal in the 67^th minute to tie the game at 1-1. The Tigers went on to win the game by a 2-1 final.  On Saturday, Settle followed up her performance by scoring the game-winning goal over UCU in the 77^th minute. The Tigers added another goal and went on to win by a 2-0 final.

Georgetown women's soccer returns to action this Wednesday against IU-Kokomo in a 7:00 PM home match.
