Clark Scores Twice on Senior Day, Tigers beat Crimson Pride

GEORGETOWN, Ky. – The Georgetown College women's soccer team (4-3-1, 0-1 MSC) picked up a convincing 3-0 win over IU Columbus (2-3-1, 0-0 RSC) on Senior Day at Toyota Stadium on Saturday afternoon

THE MATCH
The Tigers got on board quickly in the first half. Senior Bekah Clark struck first for the home side as she beat IU Columbus keeper, Mallory Gilley, in the sixth minute after a beautifully serviced ball in from near midfield set the defender up for a shot. Clark buried the shot over Gilley's head from the top of the box to make it 1-0. Clark's goal was the lone one of the half before she earned herself a brace not too long into the second period.

At the 64:28 mark, Clark made it 2-0 as she buried a ball into the top right corner to complete her brace. Her second goal of the day was assisted by Briony Morgan. Just over four minutes later, Sophie Paul connected for the third and final goal of the day for Georgetown. Paul smacked home a shot in the 69th for an easy finish after Morgan lobbed a service into the box for the assist.
