THE MATCH
The Phoenix scored three goals in each half to defeat the Tigers on Monday. All within 20 minutes had the hosts decided the match. First, in the 13th minute Victoria Collins finished the first of her two-goal day off a pass from Sky Hull. Collins later completed her brace in the 17th minute, when Klara Bjorkman found her for the finish. Just three minutes later Kadisha Martina struck with the third and final goal of the half just as the clock ticked into the 20th minute. Georgetown managed just two first-half shots and two corner kicks in the opening 45.

The second half saw both sides settle into a rhythm. While the Tigers took just one shot, the Phoenix rounded off their 30-shot day with three more second half goals. This time, the scoring was started in the 71st minute when Ali Cole found the back of the net for the only unassisted goal of the season. At the 78th and 80th minute, Martina finished up her hattrick, giving the Phoenix the 6-0 win.
