Ralph Wins 3,000m at Centre Showcase

DANVILLE, Ky. – The Georgetown College women's indoor track and field team competed in the Centre Showcase in Champions Hall at Centre College on Friday night.

Originally scheduled for Saturday morning, the meet was moved up due to the incoming winter weather expected in the region beginning on Saturday.

The Tigers ended up competing in six total events, and they brought home points in three of them, highlighted by Lexi Ralph's first-place finish in the 3,000m run. Celia Reigelman and Shelby Shepard also finished in the top-5 of that race, while Cameron Reynolds was a fifth-place finisher in the 800m run. Jenna Tipton placed in the 60m hurdles, shaving 0.07 off her prelim time to finish eighth.
