Lavinder and Austin Score at Jewell City Invite

HUNTINGTON, W. Va. – The Georgetown College women's indoor track and field team competed in the Jewell City Invite in the Chris Cline Athletic Complex at Marshall University on Friday and Saturday.

On Friday, Rebecca Kainer ran in the 600m run at the Fairgrounds Invitational in Indiana. She also competed on the 4,000m DMR team, which finished third. Lexi Ralph, Bekah Clark, and Liza Pollio joined her for the 13:44.79 effort.

The rest of the squad was at the Jewell City Invite on Friday and Saturday. Elizabeth Lavinder finished eighth in the 5,000m on Friday, while Cynthia Austin also scored in the triple jump. She had a 10.18m jump for an eighth-place finish.
