Three Tigers Place at Blue Raider Open

COLUMBIA, Ky. – The (RV) Georgetown College women's wrestling team had three placers at the Blue Raider Open, with Jes'Onia Barefield finishing second in the Doris and Bob Holloway Health and Wellness Center on Saturday

No. 16 Jes'Onia Barfield finished the open with a 3-1 record, falling in the championship match to Kalyah Edwards from Emmanuel. Shelby Clayton was the fourth-place finisher in 117. Clayton finished with a 4-2 record, including one over teammate Camara Carter. Clayton finished fourth. The final Tiger placer was Kaylyn Lawson who placed fourth in 180. Lawson went 2-2 in the open and defeated fellow teammate and #18 A'Nyiah Sullivan along the way.
