Barefield Earns Trip to NAIA National Championships

PARK CITY, Kan. – For the first time in program history, the Georgetown College women's wrestling team sent an individual to the NAIA National Championships on Friday in the Heartland Credit Union Arena.

Jes'Onia Barefield opened the championships with a bout against Lola Barkby of Indiana Tech, falling via decision 8-2. Barefield's run came to an end with a loss via a pin in 2:18 to Catherine Campbell from Grand View.
