Lavinder 5th, Tigers Finish 2nd at Midway Invitational
MIDWAY, Ky. – The Georgetown College cross country teams took on the Falling Springs Park cross country course at the Midway University Invitational on Friday.
The women's team finished 2nd of 6. Elizabeth Lavinder led the Tigers with a time of 26:05.0, good for a top 5 finish. Cameron Reynolds (8th – 26:20.9) and Katelynn Gaddis (10th – 26:29.5) cracked the top-10 while Lexi Ralph (14th – 26:51.1) and Rebecca Kainer (16th – 27:08.0) finished in the top-20.
The men's side finished 4th of 6. Brody Miller took the top time for the Tigers, finishing in 28:16.60, 10th overall. Bode Byall, Layne Clark, Riley Morris, Bryant Curtis, Andrew Pence, Josiah McMahan, Joshua Matheny, and Asa McCord were also tested on the 8K course.
