Five Tigers Named to 2026 All-Commonwealth Football Team
LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky Pro Football Hall of Fame, the nation's only state-specific professional football hall of fame, announced the 2026 Collegiate All-Commonwealth Team, presented by Community Trust Bank, on Thursday, with five Georgetown College football student-athletes represented.
Clayton Davis, Chandler Godby, Ethan Freeland, Dorein Greer and Jamell Smith were the Georgetown College 2026 representatives.
The Collegiate All-Commonwealth Team is a preseason honor recognizing football players from Kentucky colleges and universities.
The award promotes college football across the commonwealth and recognizes student-athletes whose leadership on the field and in the classroom reflects their potential as future leaders beyond the game. Head coaches nominated players based on those qualities.
A ceremony honoring the 2026 Collegiate All-Commonwealth Team is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Friday, June 26, at the Pam Miller Downtown Arts Center, 141 E. Main St., Lexington, KY. Each player will receive a Collegiate All-Commonwealth Team championship ring during the ceremony.
The players also will be recognized during the Kentucky Pro Football Hall of Fame's Purple Jacket Dinner and Induction Ceremony at 6 p.m. the same day at the Hilton downtown.
